Can anyone shed some slight on the dial differences between the older Rhodium vs. the newer Slate? Unfortunately the local AD did not have a definitive explanation and/or answer. And I did some searching around here on RF, but came up empty.

Or think of it as slate is a poorer sounding pressing of the same vinyl album. Side-by-side the rhodium looks .
